Whether it’s the 694 sq. km of countryside with vistas of rolling farmland, dotted with small lakes and meandering rivers, or, access to the burgeoning Okanagan and Coastal markets via nearby Highway 1 (40 minutes from Falkland), Area D is garnering significant attention. A moderate year-round climate and fertile soils support a growing agricultural sector and new families are taking advantage of the ‘farm to table’ experience.
Area D saw a positive population increase of 9% between 2016 and 2021 (4044-4400) and has a population density of 6.3 per sq. km.
