Wildfire Business Impact Survey . The BC Economic Development Association is conducting this survey, which is applicable to any wildfire-impacted business in BC’s Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. Impacts can include road closures, evacuation alert s/orders, smoke, public perception of closure and more. It will help the government determine those supports that are most necessary and valuable to the greater community, and deliver them in a quicker and more efficient manner. The Shuswap Emergency Program is the regional organization for the Shuswap that works to ensure residents are prepared, safe and informed in cases of floods, wildfire, extreme weather and more. It serves the citizens of the City of Salmon Arm, District of Sicamous and CSRD Electoral Areas C, D, E, F and G.
