The Shuswap Economic Development Society (SEDS) is proud to announce the successful completion of the 2025 Business Façade Improvement Program for the Salmon River Valley region. As part of our Community Partnerships in Motion initiative, this program supports the revitalization of local businesses by funding exterior upgrades that enhance visual appeal and economic vitality. We extend our sincere thanks to the Economic Trust of the Southern Interior of BC (ETSI-BC) for their generous funding, which made this initiative possible.

The grant recipients—Honey Onyx Apiary Inc., Falkland & District Community Association, Okanagan Market Place / Sabrina’s Home Cooking, and Four Winds Eatery Inc.—have each completed impressive exterior enhancements. The projects officially wrapped up on May 31, 2025 and we encourage you to view the improvements by taking a trip out to Falkland, BC. From fresh signage to welcoming architectural features, these upgrades not only enhance the individual storefronts but also add to the overall charm and economic vibrancy of the Falkland area.
